I read another lady's story today that explains things so well. I'll quote it to you:
This summer I had a sudden realization about the home party biz I've been working for 3+ years. While I truly enjoy the biz, I realized that if I continue to progress up the ranks, with each new level I lose more of the freedom and flexibility that I'm desiring out of life. I'm not talking a huge group of partners either - I mean an intimate group of 3 or 4 committed partners who you really like to work with and talk to. Just the ability to communicate well with your friends.
As a growing group, we choose which companies to invest in. As we get in to profit with each company, we then add another. And another. And help others find their investment partners. If a company no longer suits us, we simply keep our network of people in place, and move to a different opportunity. Therefore, we are never dependent upon the companies, but to each other instead.
