This summer I had a sudden realization about the home party biz I've been working for 3+ years. While I truly enjoy the biz, I realized that if I continue to progress up the ranks, with each new level I lose more of the freedom and flexibility that I'm desiring out of life. I'd be required to have more sales every month, my team would continue to grow, which means more training, management, "babysitting".
A top level business acquaintance of mine admitted to me that she was merely purchasing product every month, just to receive the override checks she needed to make her house payment. She wanted to take the summer to travel, but still needed those checks. I certainly didn't want that "freedom".
So, in that instance of her telling me, I decided that the biz I'd been working for years was now going to be reclassified as a hobby. I don't want to move up in ranks. I have 4 kids under the age of 6 - They are going to keep me plenty busy as they get into activities. My family is always first, and I don't want to take time from them to "have to do my biz" in the evenings.
True to the Law of Attraction, of which I am a believer, I was introduced to a new way of thinking, a different way of earning income. A way to create streams of multilevel income with the same partners over and over again. I'm not talking a huge group of partners either - I mean an intimate group of 3 or 4 committed partners who you really like to work with and talk to. Investing in companies/opportunities, prescreened by the creator of the program, all with very high Return on Investment. No parties, no stocking of products, no meetings. Just the ability to communicate well with your friends.
As a growing group, we choose which companies to invest in. As we get in to profit with each company, we then add another. And another. And help others find their investment partners. If a company no longer suits us, we simply keep our network of people in place, and move to a different opportunity. Therefore, we are never dependent upon the companies, but to each other instead.
